The friends and family of Mike Dunn host a golf outing every year in his memory. This event was established to raise money for the Mike Dunn Scholarship Fund, a charitable foundation, established in 1988 to provide financial assistance to talented Northern Kentucky seniors heading off to college. Our goal for 2024 is to raise $25,000.

This year we are celebrating our 35th Mike Dunn Scholarship Outing. Due to the generosity of our sponsors in past years, we have been able to grow our annual award from one, $500 scholarship to five, $1,000 scholarships. To date, we have provided well over 100 scholarships to area seniors, many of whom have graduated and returned to Northern Kentucky to start their careers and families.

Several years ago, in addition to our scholarships, we extended our mission to provide financial assistance to families in need who are battling problems that we all sometimes must face. Reaching our goal of $25,000 will allow us to continue offering this important community service as well.

The benefits of sponsoring the Mike Dunn Memorial Golf Outing are more than just community good will. The Outing itself also provides an excellent advertising venue for Greater Cincinnati businesses. We expect nearly 300 people to attend this year’s Outing, which will take place on Friday, June 14, 2024 at A.J. Jolly Park in Alexandria, Kentucky.

Sponsorships come in many shapes and sizes, ranging from personal contributions to full-scale corporate sponsorships. Donations of goods and services (which we use as raffle and door prizes) as well as cash hole sponsorships are welcome. All sponsors are recognized on signs posted on each of the course holes, and on a poster in the banquet area. Sponsors who donates $1,000 or more receive a complimentary foursome in the outing.
